We, at CARWAH, are committed to taking all necessary and logical steps to protect the privacy of your information, and we will not disclose this information except to determine your identity as a renter and for the purpose of the services provided. We provide this Privacy Statement regarding your use of the Application and/or services (the "Privacy Policy") to provide you with clarity and transparency of how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your private information and your right to privacy. Your acceptance of this Privacy Policy constitutes your authorization and consent to use the personal information and information collected under the Terms and Conditions set forth below.
1.PERSONAL INFORMATION Subject to the creation of a user account as per our Terms and Conditions, at the time of registration, you will be required to provide information about you, which may include but not limited to, (a) personal information, such as ID number, name, gender, date of birth; (b) contact information, such as your email address, physical address, phone number, etc., (c) driving information, such as a driving license, additional drivers' permits, etc., as well as other personal information that you choose to share with us or required to provide services (collectively referred to as "Personal Information"). You can still access and use some services if you choose not to provide us with any personal information, but you may not be able to access some features of the services. When you submit your personal information, you agree to involve us in maintaining your account for you so that you can then search for and select cars and communicate with us securely regarding rental operations and related services. You authorize CARWAH, specifically its directors, officers, employees, agents, employees, web developers, service providers, and others who working on its behalf for use or disclosure. You acknowledge and agree that if you provide any personal information to any additional driver through your User Account for the provided services, this constitutes a positive acknowledgment and the consent of the designated driver to the Terms and Conditions, and CARWAH can use and/or collect and/or disclose the driver’s information under the terms of this Privacy Policy.
2. PAYMENT INFORMATION While you pay through our Application as per our Payment Terms in the Terms and Conditions and your Rental Agreement, your payment card information is processed by a third-party payment processing partner, this partner collects the payment card information you have provided to process your payment. Use and storage of the information by these third parties are subject to our Terms of Service and the applicable Privacy Policy.
3. COLLECTING TRAFFIC DATA We may also automatically collect certain data when you use the services, such as (a) IP address; (b) domain server; (c) type of devices used to access the services; (d) the web browsers used to access the services; (e) web page or any other source through which you accessed the Services; (f) geolocation information, and other statistics and information related to the interaction between your browser, device, and the services ("traffic data").
4. HOW WE COLLECT YOUR INFORMATION We collect information, including personal information, payment information, and traffic data ("aggregate information"), when you use and interact with the services, and in some cases from third-party applications. Besides, CARWAH may use the collected information to send notifications, alerts, notifications, and other activities related to services and promotions from time to time. 6. DISCLOSURE OF THE COLLECTED INFORMATION CARWAH will take reasonable measures to disclose any information collected by this Privacy Policy, and as necessary to perform the services. Some of the collected information may be disclosed as follows: • CARWAH has the right to disclose this information to its directors, officials, employees, agents, employees, web developers, service providers, and others who work on its behalf, based on the need for knowledge, to operate, design, developing, and/or improving services and/or Application. • Certain personal information may be shared or disclosed with remote communication devices to enhance your use of the services. CARWAH reserves the right to disclose this information in any way and by any means it deems appropriate. We encourage you to review any personal information that you choose to disclose publicly, as CARWAH is unable to control any use of this information by third parties.
7. SECURITY AND STORAGE CARWAH pledges to implement all necessary measures to meet strong and secure data storage standards. A secure server is used to store aggregate information or any sensitive information that you send to us, and to protect its transmission through firewalls and encryption. Although we try to store your information safely and protect it, we do not guarantee the security of your information and we cannot prevent any violations by third parties. If we have reasonable doubts that your information has been disclosed, we will promptly notify you.
8. UPDATES CARWAH reserves the right to amend and revise this Privacy Policy or any of its other policies that are published from time to time and at its sole discretion. Any modifications will be deemed effective immediately and will be incorporated concerning this Privacy Policy or any other policies. Upon such change, CARWAH will present the modified terms in the Application and may notify you through other means. CARWAH encourages you to review the App periodically for updates, as it may make important changes that affect your statutory rights. You acknowledge and agree to your continued access to or use of the Application and/or services after the actual date of any modifications to this Privacy Policy or any other policies will be considered positive acceptance of the modifications. If at any time you choose not to accept this Privacy Policy after these modifications, you have to stop using the Application and/or services.
